F1 New Jersey Grand Prix of America Delayed Until 2014

The on-again, off-again Grand Prix of America event is so off... again.

While it was certainly a high order for the execs at the Weehawken, New Jersey, venue to meet the contractual agreements in time, many racing enthusiasts held onto a glimmer of hope that things would pan out.

Now, according to Formula 1 president Bernie Ecclestone, the Grand Prix of America at Weehawken's Port Imperial will push its inaugural F1 race to the 2014 calendar due to construction delays caused by a slow arrival of funding, road repair, and more delays from the permit issuance process.
